How To Make Aloe vera Leaves Grow Roots and Pups

Unlike other succulents, Aloe vera leaves cannot grow roots and pups on their own when detached from the plant.

But there is a way or a trick in order for the leaves to grow roots and pups when you plant them in the soil.

A stem tissue should be attached when you remove the leaves from the aloe vera plant.  But, you have to cut the plant in order to do it.

After cutting the leaves, leave them in the open to dry, but not in direct sunlight.  Place the cut leaves in a shaded area or, better, inside the room.

After two weeks, the leaves will start to grow roots and pups. When this happens, the Aloe vera leaves are ready to be planted.

You can watch the video below on how to cut the Aloe vera leaves for planting.
