How To Prepare Aloe vera For Mailing or Shipping

If you are the one receiving the plant, anticipate that the plant may look different depending on how long the mailed plant will reach you.  Watch the video below and see how the plant will look like from the first week to one month inside the box.

What Will Happen To Aloe vera Pups Inside The Box for One Month?

For some reasons, the mail is delayed for a month, the Aloe vera plant you will receive is almost white and longer than it is supposed to be.  This is because the plant has not seen light for a very long time.

Before planting it in the soil, place the plant in a well lighted room without direct sunlight.  In a few days, it will start to change its color and after a wee the plant will be greener.  Don't worry about not planting it directly in the soil because Aloe vera can survive without soil for many weeks.

After a week, you can now plant the Aloe vera, but place it in a shaded area.  Start exposing the plant to the morning sun two weeks after planting.
