The pots that I used for my Aloe vera plants are soft and very lightweight. When the Aloe vera plants get bigger, taller and top-heavy, making them stand is already difficult. That is why I cut and replant them.
Every time I cut the Aloe vera plant for replanting, I usually throw the lower stem and roots in the garbage, even though I know that they can be used for propagation.
What I didn't know in my early years of growing Aloe vera, that even the dried roots and stem can still be propagated.
As shown in the video below, I found a dried stem with roots in the dried garbage ready for composting. I tried to plant the dried root and stem and in a couple of weeks, pups were showing up.
